Understand texts in a third language using communication technologies, sensitivity and willingness to interact in a positive manner as a professional.
Personal reflection of the competence:
This PhD program is internationally focused. I have been able to understand and appreciate other cultures and languages. Although I have worked among French speaking individuals I have never had an appreciation for the culture of those persons. I am now more aware of the French culture and can even communicate a little in the French language. I have many friends who are French and relate extremely well with all of them.
